Mechanic tuition reimbursement is available to all students graduating from an approved/accredited Diesel Tech program that meets our qualifying performance standards.

Tuition reimbursement is paid directly to your loan company, which makes it easy for you.

How Sapp Bros. Tuition Reimbursement Program Works

You could earn up to $5,250 per year in tuition reimbursement – tax free! Based on the number of years of employment you agree to, you could be reimbursed up to $26,250.

*Tax benefit is approved through 12/31/2024 by the IRS.

– Up to $10,500 –

with a promise of 2 years of employment

– Up to $15,750 –

with a promise of 3 years of employment

– Up to $21,000–

with a promise of 4 years of employment

– Up to $26,250 –

with a promise of 5 years of employment

Sapp Bros. Shop Tool Allowance Program

Sapp Bros. offers a shop tool allowance of up to $200 per month for 24 months (not to exceed $4,800). Program requires new technicians hired at any of our locations to have graduated from an accredited diesel technology program within one year.

Performance Standards for Tuition Reimbursement & Tool Program

Sapp Bros., Inc., requires the following performance standards from the graduate:*

Grade Point Average must be 3.0 or higher
A grade in lab effectiveness
Attendance of 90% or higher during the Diesel Tech program
90 days of full-time employment
Clean driving record (no more than two moving violations and/or at-fault accidents)
Must obtain DOT medical card
Must maintain a warranty percentage of less than 1% total labor sales

Any disciplinary action or loss-of-driving privileges under Sapp Bros. standards will disqualify you from further payments and participation in the Tuition/Loan Reimbursement program. Tuition Reimbursement program only: Eligibility requires graduate status and date of graduation from an approved/accredited Diesel Tech program within the last 12 months.
