Sapp Bros. 50th Anniversary Giving

In celebration to give back to our community in our 50th year, Sapp Bros. is excited to share an update in our philanthropic campaign. With a goal to give away $50,000 for our 50th anniversary, Sapp Bros. is raising funds for Truckers Against Trafficking and Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF).

During May and June of this year, thanks in part to our amazing customers, a donation of $65,000 was made to Truckers Against Trafficking. Presented in July at the 50th anniversary community celebration. A long-time partner of TAT, Sapp Bros. launched a new multi-prong approach to combat trafficking in 2019 including our Help Now campaign and with law enforcement partnerships offers an educational series on combating human trafficking at select locations (temporarily postponed due to COVID-19).

Our philanthropic efforts continue in September and October as we focus on raising funds for Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF). JDRF is a nonprofit 501 organization that funds type 1 diabetes research, provides a broad array of community activist services to the T1D population and actively advocates for regulation favorable to medical research and approval of new and improved treatment modalities. Sapp Bros. will be matching up to $25,000 in donations and offers JDRF sneaker stickers available at all Sapp Bros. Travel Centers.
